MSNBC: Deja News
Deja News traces today’s headlines back to their historical counterparts—showing how past political and cultural patterns recur in the present. Each episode draws a clean line between a contemporary story and an earlier moment in history that looked strikingly similar. The show’s visual identity nods to that repeating dynamic: a blue-and-violet groundhog as the mascot, a simple emblem for recurrence and return. This project marked my third collaboration with Rachel Maddow’s team.
